What's the timetable for the day?
Germantrack events will start with registration from 8.00am, for all drivers and guests. This will be followed, at 8.30am by the driver's briefing.
The given circuit will then open-up as close to 9.00am as possible, starting with familiarisation laps, then we will operate an "open pit lane" format, not sessions, enabling drivers to enjoy track time when they feel ready.
Halfway through the day, there will be a lunch hour, where the track will be closed and facilities for a decent lunch will be provided.
The circuit will then re-open after lunch, for an afternoon of free lapping, until the circuit closes (4 to 5.00pm, time of year depending).

What is needed from you and your car?
Apart from pre-payment (via our online shop), all drivers must hold a valid full road licence, to be presented to Germantrack when signing on before the driver's briefing.
You must be in a good state of health.
If you need glasses please use them.
Any car that you intend to use on the track must also hold a valid MOT certificate, or conform to the current RAC/MSA regulations.
You must not take part in the event whilst under the influence of alcohol, or drugs.
And if you cause any damage to the event facility, in any way (be it in the paddock or on the circuit), you may be required to pay for the damage to it.

Clothing required
All drivers and passengers are required to wear a crash helmet (which are available to hire at our events, for £10 per day, plus a CASH deposit of £50).
Short sleeves and shorts are not permitted – you need to cover your legs and arms.
Spectators and guests are more than welcome, however please note that children under 16 are not allowed into a live pit area, or on track.

Drinks and cake
In addition to the circuit's catering facilities, a selection of drinks (and even some sweets, fruit, cake or Krisky Kreme donuts!) will be available throughout the day, gratis on behalf of Germantrack. And we welcome everyone booked on the event to use this FREE facility, so we can all get a chance to chat, share tales and get to know each other better.

Preparing your car, and you...
Preparing your car for going out on circuit is essential, and the responsibility of every driver on our track days. The car should be in a 100% road-worthy condition, fault-free. ALL loose items should be removed from inside the car. Fluid levels should be topped up and properly sealed. Tyres should be in good condition, at the correct pressures.
And, most importantly, the driver should be mentally prepared and in a fit state to drive on circuit.
With event support and driver training on offer at Germantrack events, there should be no excuses here...
